Add reference
The 'Reference' field is your tool for organizing your case overview. The field is optional, and you can easily create cases without filling it out, but it can make your daily searching and sorting much easier.
What can you use the field for?
It is entirely up to you and your team how you choose to use references. Here are some popular examples:
Customer Number: For quick identification in your own internal systems.
Case ID: If the onboarding process is linked to a specific legal or internal case.
Department Code: To see which part of the business the case belongs to.
Where is it displayed?
Once the field is filled in, the reference appears directly on your case overview (the dashboard). This makes it possible to distinguish between cases at a glance, even if multiple customers have the same name.
Tip: Make searching easier
Did you know that you can use the search field on the dashboard to search directly for your references? It makes finding exactly the case you're looking for extremely fast.
