Error 500 - What does it mean and how to fix it?

Error 500 (Internal Server Error) is a general error message that appears when something goes wrong on the server. This means the system was unable to complete the request, but it does not always provide a clear reason for the issue.

How to fix it

Before contacting support, try these four quick steps:

Try again later:
The error may be temporary, so wait a moment and try again.

Use Incognito mode:
Open the link in a private/incognito window. This forces the browser to ignore your stored data (cache*), which is a common cause of this error.

Clear cache and cookies:
If Incognito mode works, we recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies permanently for a long-term fix.

What is "cache"?
When you visit a website, your browser saves small pieces of information (cache) to make the page load faster next time. Sometimes this stored data becomes outdated or "cluttered," which can create conflicts. By using Incognito mode or clearing your cache, you are essentially giving the browser a fresh start.

Try another browser or device:
Switch to a different browser (e.g., from Safari to Chrome) or another device to rule out local configuration issues.
