Error 419 - What does it mean and how to fix it?
An Error 419 usually occurs because your session has timed out. For security reasons, Uniify closes the connection if a page has been open for too long without any activity (e.g., if there was a long pause before uploading a file or submitting a form).
This is a built-in security feature designed to protect your data.
How to fix it
You can almost always resolve this issue with these simple steps:
Refresh the page:
Click the refresh button in your browser. This starts a new session, allowing you to try again.
Have your documents ready:
Make sure you have your files and information ready before opening the flow to ensure you can complete the process without long interruptions.
Use Incognito mode:
If the error persists, it might be due to old cookies. Try opening the link in a private (Incognito) window.
Clear cache and cookies:
If Incognito mode works, we recommend clearing your browser's cache for a more permanent fix.
What is "cache"?
When you visit a website, your browser saves small pieces of information (cache) to make the page load faster next time. Sometimes this stored data becomes outdated or "cluttered," which can create conflicts. By using Incognito mode or clearing your cache, you are essentially giving the browser a fresh start.
